Gazprom Neft says wins auction for Severo-Yamburgsky site
MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- Russian oil company Gazprom Neft has won an auction for development of the Severo-Yamburgsky license site in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The State Register of Reserves says that forecasted hydrocarbon resources of the Severo-Yamburgsky site stand at 102.8 million tonnes of oil, 655.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas, and 46.3 million tonnes of condensate under the D1 and D2 categories. In the next three years, Gazprom Neft plans to conduct 3D seismic exploration at the field and drill one prospective and appraisal well and three exploratory wells at the sie.
The site is in proximity of the Yamburgskoye oil and gas condensate field, owned by Gazprom.
